Stories Archive: Saturday 3-24-07@:17 PM 2nd Day of flounder fishing .
Hi Guys & Gals. We took a ride to Island Heights, it was a slow pick of flounder this afternoon in this area , about 4 PM there were three anglers fishing this area, when Oyster Creek had a decent day if you were out by the bouys on a boat you would have scored great, between 6 AM- about 8:30 AM, it was pretty decent, after that it was a bit picky.
Flounders are being caught on blood worms & atificial worms. I know of three anglers who went out on a boat and scored 16 keeper flounder in a few hours.
Most flounder fish are ranging from 1-1/2 lbs.
