Hi Guys & Gals. Yesterday we drove from Gillikins to the North Jetty, all but 7 anglers fishing on the whole beach, we spoke to each and every one who had no luck so far any way, we arrived on the beach at about 1 PM, fished a few different areas with clams, no luck. Their was not a person by the inlet, it was a ghost town. I heard a few fish are being caught in the back of IBSP, as well as in the Oyster Creek area . It started rainy heavy about 4 PM we left . Island Heights was hot under the collar with the flounder catch, what a great opening day for the season. We watched about 20 anglers fishing by the Dock Out fitters, about 8 anglers on the bridge at pelican Island, about 20 anglers fishing the small bridge, and alond the bay , We did not see one Bass or flounder caught, of course it was dark and cloudy out, flounder fishing should be good this morning with all the sun we have out now, who knows what the weather will bring us later on ? .. I had a sweatshirt on, sandals and a pair of ¾ length pants on if I did not feel cold it had to be a nice day even though we had no sun LOL. It looks like so far the spring is bringing us decent weather.
Holding with a 4 oz sinker at high tide, as soon as the tide started to go out we had to switched to a 6 oz sinker with a little drift. The ocean was clean.. I’ll post a few pictures in a little while, I left my cell phone and camera in my truck and I’m to lazy to go get it now .
Doing a report now BRB
Ocean Temperature was 40 degrees yesterday
