FREDERICK B. "FREDDY" DuBOIS JR., 68, of TOMS RIVER, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mr. DuBois was a milkman for over 35 years for Welsh Farms, Neptune, before retiring in 1998. He also was a bait fisherman along the Jersey Shore. He was a former member of the Reformed Church, Freehold. Born in Neptune, he lived in Toms River for over 20 years.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Bryon and Denise DuBois of Manahawkin; a daughter, Shannon DuBois of Allenhurst; two grandsons, Ethan and Jacob; three sisters, Cathy Waite of Anchorage, Alaska, Terri Stumpf of Neptune, and Charlene Kunish of Beachwood.
Visiting will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. For those who don't know Freddie by name, I'm sure most of you anglers who hung by the North Jetty mullet season every year who saw him would know who he was, in my books he was great angler, great gentle man, He always had soft & kind words. He was a great angler who enjoyed the ocean fishing every chance he had, a great netter as well.,br> Freddie will indeed be missed .
