Hi Guys & Gals. Jess Jr and his Dad from Toms River in spite of all this bitter cold heavy wind hit the suds early this morning just before dusk, Jess jr. Landed a nice 28” striper which is a keeper and be on his dinner table. They fished with one other angler and landed 5 stripers all but one was a keeper, Heeey it was fun. Jess was kind enough to send the precious picture of Jess Jr & His fish to me to post on my web, just a proud Dad , which he as well sent me a picture of what was in the stripers belly,a bunch of green crabs, Hummmm how interesting ,His striper was weighed in at Grumpys bait shop weighing a nice 7 lbs. He deserved to keep this fish,. Nice Team Work Jess Jr.& Sr. Bass were being caught on clams this morning, The ocean is a bit dirty yet, no big waves, holding with a 6-8 oz sinker . Some other reports I did receive as well was that the bay temperature did drop and some stripers are being caught in the back of IBSP on Kayaks, just hear say, I would check this area out till the wind dies down, . I hope to see lots of anglers out fishing tomorrow morning , Tons of anglers out on every bar , fishing every rip, every cut and every trough and hole and jetty as possible , especially Tuesday , We might have 70 degree weather, I think we'll have some mighty good fishing when this wind dies down . The Best of Luck To All. Guppie
