 Hi Guys & Gals.
No Report from the Island Beach State Park area this morning, but I can tell you this much , between 5:30 AM – about 7:30 A< Jess & his friend fished in the Bay Head to Brick area this morning, his buddy hooked a nice 34” & a 31 “ On a bunker chunk, they ram out of bunker and chunked a bluefish , started getting hits, a nice Striper hit the bluefish chunk and he lost it in the wash ..
Speaking of bluefish chunks, yesterday we ran out of fresh Bunker, I chunked a bluefish we caught earlier, we had no ice with us, so the fish did not look so hot, we were hooking up with some more bluefish, I had one good knock down on the bluefish chunk, but we were to bust talking and missed what ever took the bait..
If I hear of any more reports I will update, I forgot to mention the bluefish chinks in last nights report..
Just remember bluefish are oily fish as are bunker an oily fish, they both have a strong scent. I will post these pictures tonight as soon as Jess sends them to me . .Always Remember ! Yesterday is history.
