 Hi Guys & Gals.
We took a ride to IBSP, still ,lots of seaweed in scattered areas, you can find some areas that are fishable, One Camper at area 23, one camper by the inlet, two trucks park towards the back of IBSP. Dons Truck and Timmy’s.
The Fog was so bad by the north Jetty you could not see 3 feet in front of you.
One angler by area 23 was having a hard time pulling his line in, it was loaded with seaweed. I did find out a few things, the 41 lb Monster bass that was caught yesterday was snagged while this angler was snagging bunker, he brought it in by the tail, interesting .
Most of the fish that were weighed in yesterday were caught on boats and in Long Branch & Allen Hurst, I was told that the bunker was so thick, also so many anglers were squeezed together like a can of sardines on the Jetty’s in Long Branch, a few fell in the water, a few lost their tackle bags, Doesn’t seem like fun to me . Nothing else to report besides the crabbing has picked up, Bluefish in and out of the inlet @ Island Beach State Park, and believe it or not the green flies were murder tonight, even with a light S-East wind, man they are big this year & They just love me.
