Hey Guppie it's Ray over at Fishbuzz Bait and Tackle. How have you been?
The site looks very good by the way. I figured I'd give you
what I'm hearing on the fishing front. Raritan is Hot. One of our
employee Bill Dawson had over 65 bass last Saturday on clams. He also reported
a decent amount of bunker on the way home around the Elberon area, but no fish
under them yet. Everything is running early this year, and we expect the cows
to be in very soon. 2nd - 3rd week in may?
Last year it started
around the first week of June in our backyard. So it should start soon!!
Flounder fishing remain very good around the Mantoloking bridge. My buddy and
I had around 40 flounder with 17 keepers last week and the reports keep coming
in that it's good over there still. But the fish a moving fast!! Don't
miss it!! Use Sands and Bloods. Fluke season is upon us, and I'm
already hearing reports of fluke 4 miles off the beach from my buddy Capt.
Bogan of the gambler. So some fu n times lie ahead.. Everything is taking
shape for a very good spring run. Just to remind all of you readers of Guppies
