The fish were rolling at first light but they kept hitting my needle fish and not finding a hook. Finally got a tiny one. Worked down the beach and picked up 3 more on Avas. Went back up to where I started and put clams out, got four more then had to leave for a docs appt. Saw a lot of shorts caught and Big Ed threw one back that looked like a keeper. Don
