 Hi Guys.
I did not do a report yesterday because it was a complete dead sea.
We fished from Gillikins to the south side of IBSP, spoke to many
anglers, maybe a few short stripers and a few small bluefish.
We got to IBSP at 7:30 AM Fished till dark with card shop, we fed many of
crabs good, same as today.
I was told that there was some fish action in Lavallette and seaside Heights
early morning yesterdaday, then it picked up a little again about 5 PM, this is
second hand information..
The ocean was clean and warm, yesterday and today, we had extremely high
tides.
The beaches are a mess, lots of anglers were getting stuck.
about 50 yards going in to Gillikins late this afternoon, please be careful
if your driving low, there is about a 10' long 4 foot deep troth.,
Be careful the beach is pretty torn up, driving high the sand is extremely soft.
I must say we had two gorgeous days at Island Beach, lots of anglers were
out, it was almost like a summer day at Gillikins, shoulder to shoulder
anglers.
