Hi Guys & Gals,
After being cooped up for 9 days I had to take a ride to Island Beach State
park.
It was completely unfishable, I did take some pictures and will post later
on.
The waves were big and all the way up to the dunes at high tide, tons of jelly
fish and lots of garbage and grass,
We drove the whole beach not counting the bathing beach which you cant drive on,
not holding with a 10 oz sinker, the ocean is a bit dirty.
We drove twice from Gillikins to the North Jetty, at high tide the North
Jetty was under water, at low tide the waves were still busting over the rocks,
the ocean and inlet was one for a while.
No bait or mullet to be seen.
Don Fished the inlet for a while only to hook one pound bluefish.
Guppie is back and feeling great a bit tired but ready for posting fishing
reports again. In my opinion I think tomorrow might be a good day for fishing
and finding mullet.
Please be carefull lots of logs and junk in the water and we have some nasty currents.
Hope to see you all soon.
Thanks all of you for the get well cards and concerned e-mails, to many
to answer, I do appreciate your concern and loving care
Love Guppie
