Hi Guys & Gals . Just another perfect beach day for sun bathers. This morning we drove three times from one end of Island Beach tp the other, 8 miles which was a total of 24 miles. We did see small bait, some areas birds were working, very few fish on them.
I would say a total of 25 fish caught through out the morning, 2-3 lb cock tail blues.
Nothing doing in the inlet. Most action was at Gillikins and between area 12-18?
Cast masters was the lure to use.
Like I said this morning, it seems to be a early morning bit and only lasts for about two hours. These fish are way spread out along the beach, 5 1/2 hours of fishing and 4 blues 2-3 lbs, was it worth it going out, yes, it was a beautiful day at the beach. Good Luck To All. Guppie & Don
