Hi Guys & Gals.
Today striper fishing at Island beach was pretty decent.
All fish caught on Grumpys clams.
Poppy Bill hook a few shorts managing to hook two keepers one at 28" and one at 28.4 ", Nice job Bill.
We were getting nice fish on the out going tide.
Again the Bay was loaded with bunker and bluefish in Seaside Heights by the Dock out fitter bait & tackle, right by the bridge in the back .
I was told by a few anglers that bluefish was non stop south of bay head, Sandy Hook was the place to be yesterday.
most of out locals spent the day there, BTW, not much on the ocean side from what I was told by real reliable anglers, all bluefish were in the bay.
No matter where you fished at Island Beach stripers were being caught in
scattered areas, you just had to move till you found the fish.
Sand spike Bill and his girlfriend were pulling on to Island Beach as
we were getting ready to leave and still managed to hook up with a short around
2 PM
We will be out again tomorrow rain or shine.
I did not hear much about south of area 23 other then the black fishing
was still decent.
The Best Of Luck To Al.
Guppie & Don .
Any time these Bluefish will hit the inlet @ Island Beach State Park.
