Hi Guys & Gals.
We took a ride to seaside park checked out the ocean temperature it was a low
41 degrees, not yet good for good striper action on the ocean side yet, but you
never can tell, the ocean did calm down from yesterday a bit, it's a bit chilly
out there this morning, now lets just hope mother nature will give us a nice 53 sunny
day.
What's keeping our ocean temperatures down is that night time air
temperatures are staying in the high 20s to mid 30s., that's just common sense.
Today: Sunny, with a high near 48. East wind around 5 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 35. South wind around 6 mph.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. West wind between 6 and 14
mph.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33. North wind between
11 and 13 mph.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 26 this is going to hurt
the ocean conditions when night time temps drop to 26 degrees.
If you are thinking about fishing I would most certainly stick to the bay
side and use clams, these stripers are still a bit sluggish and most likely will
not chase anything moving fast, just my opinion
Dress warm it's brisk out side this morning.
BTW yesterdays report I reported snow, the snow ended in about an hour, it
got pretty cold out for the remainder of the day, the sun came out for about 15
minutes, I think if the sun did stayed we would ht have had a decent day, it
never made it to the 50 degree mark as the weather man said would happen..
Good Luck To All
Guppie
