Hi Guys & Gals. We are heading out to Islans Beach state Park. This week has been the best striped Bass fishing, lots of small fish, most of our locals donot keep keepers, most might keep one but not weigh it in, we are getting some keepers. go out and throw a ava with a teaser, most fish are being caught on teasers, small swimmer, my friend Charlie , my christmas treee man caught one on a rattle trap, try different lures, but a teaser is a must.
at Grumpys bait shop ask for big Guys teasers, I was told that they are working great, I have a few my self and they are very well made with lots of pride, they work great, try for a dark color.
The fishing was turned on on the out going tide through just after dark for the last two days.
We now have a good amount of cuts, openings and more places to plug at Island Beach State Park, just keep moving till you find the fish, no hot spots or secrets, no birds diving or fish busting water water , so don't go looking for this, it can happen? These Bass are just scattered along the shore line, at times you'll pick up a few in close at times in the second wave. Good Luck To All. Guppie & Don
