For every maybe 30 shorts a keeper was caught, Don hooked 40 stripers 2 keepers 28 1/4 ' & 28 1/2", 2 bluefish about 8 lbs as well.

he left the fish biting, it was a long day for me.
I did take pictures and will post them hopefully tonight or early morn.
These Stripers and blues were loaded with sand ells.
I am sure if you used a needle fish , deadly dick lure any thing that looked like a sand eel would have worked.
just wish I was able to fish, I did hook a 26" striper, got it in to the wash and had to leave the left to Don, went in the truck and fell asleep for a short time LOL, it's a beach getting old aaaaaaaaaaay? the temptation was just there, a dumb move for me .
All the way from Gillikins to area 15 the bite was good.
From what I was told by Glitter plug Ron was that from area 17 to the inlet it was a bit slow.
I did see many bent rods today, even while we we leaving anglers were hooking up.
