Hi *******
I am not going to feel right till I send you this e-mail, a few weeks ago you of bashed my web site in SS forums which surprised me.
I have never done any thing to hurt you or disrespect you, Just tell me WHY?
In a public forum?
It seems to be a few anglers in SS forums will hide behind their key board bash one another, insult some, make fun of, I just wonder how many real men will actually go up to one face to face and say the same thing ?
Thanks for stooping down to Manhandles(AKA) Chris) level.
I figure that now I know you do not think my web site is good enough for you, I banned your IP.
Don’t read stuff that you don’t like, as far as supporters, My web holds it’s own.
God Bless & Good Luck with your new baby.

Reply to my E-mail
I apologize to you Guppie because I posted without enough thought and I should have emailed you privately, although I did make sure not to mention your name or your site in my post. I was a little heated after reading your report and I should have calmed down before posting. I do think that you take some responsibility when you post a very specific, very small spot on your site where it is presently. I think a little more thought on your part was in order as I'm sure your aware of the laws regarding fishing the bay for stripers this time of year. For what it's worth I have come to your defense hundreds of times because I believe your intention is to help people get into fish. I do however think that taking the hunting out of fishing for stripers is detrimental to new anglers who are learning the sport. Again I apologize and I will continue to defend your character on the beach whether or not I'm welcome on your site.######.
many of these possitive e-mails come to me each day , I want to thank each and every one of you anglers for you kind words like I am posting below.
Knowing this web is turning many new anglers on to fishing which in my opinion is such a beautiful , relaxing sport.
Hi Guppie,
Caught this thing this past week in Brandt Beach in the surf. Took over a half hour to land it - it was as big as a medium-sized dog.
I know it's some type of ray, but I've never seen one like this, or as big. It has no long tail like other rays, and a huge body. Can you post it and see if anyone can identify it?
Thanks!
Don Hans
Hi Don,
the picture you sent me was a cow nose ray, I am sure it gave on heck of a fisht.
Thanks for the report

As a reply to the e-mails you recieved regarding your reporting the bass being caught of the jetty let me say thank you. I've been fishing since I was 5, riding my bike down to a local pond. I'm now 49 going to be 50 in November and still get just excited about fishing.
I'm new to surf fishing and your advise and reports have been a great help.
Over the past two weekends I've spent a little over $400.00 just at Grumpy's, ask him if you should keep up on reporting on the bass.
Please stay true to your reports and as far as the people who wish you kept the news to yourself they are not true sportsmen/women.
There is a whole lot of ocean out there and only a short amount of time we have to enjoy it.
I hope and pray that everything goes good with your back(should not have picked up that log) and will keep you in my thoughts.
Daniel Ferentz.
Dan I thank you for your help that day, just thenk god no one was hurt or knocked down again, the currents were ripping real bad that day, some anglers should pay attention on a Nor eastern to the water, it was sad to see one fellow get hit by it before we all removed it from the water.
