Hi Guys & Gals.
This morning a 30' whale washed in at area 17 @ Island Beach State Park, I was told it appears to have lots of shark bites on it .
I will be posting pictures later on a friend took.
Other then that it's cloudy here in Toms River, a bit muggy at Island Beach State Park.
Holding with a 4-5 oz sinker a light south wind.
If you heading to Island Beach State Park, beware the south end is pretty much cramped in, not much room for many more trucks.
It looks like 4th of July by the inlet, lots of anglers getting ready hopefully to have a great weekend.
I heard of only Sea robins being caught.
As I think I mention that good shark fishing is just about gone, not getting any reports of anglers having much luck.
I would say fishing the north jetty and the inlet is your best bet, UNLESS WE GET SOME BLUEFISH ACTION ALONG THE SHORE LINE WHICH CAN HAPPEN AT ANY GIVING TIME .
Most likely we'll try getting out today, I WILL BE GETTING MORE PHONE CALLS ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON.
here in Toms River we had a little drizzle, looks pretty dull out , one can never tell what mother nature will do.
Lots of tiny sea bass in the inlet to play with, catch and release, some short fluke, but you can never tell when the big one might hit?
Till then it is what it is, I will try to keep you all posted . .
, Good Luck .
Guppie
