Hi Guys & Gals. Beware of the invasion of the cow nose Rays, they hit the surf at Island Beach State Park this morning., a few anglers told me they got cut off by them, they are coming up or down which ever way in troops.
I would consider using a wire leader and if you hook one take your time pulling it in or cut your line, because if you do hook one it’s going to give a good fight, For some anglers this is fun for some who can’t be bothered it’s a pain in the neck. no word so far of any action, like I said with the Rays , crabs and junk fish around the bait gets taken before it can sit out for a while.
I have my grand children today so we just might take a ride if the sun comes out to let them view these Rays, they are pretty creatures to watch swimming along the bottom when they start moving in bunches.
If I hear of any other action I will update. Till then the best of luck to all. We should see some bluefish action soon, June & July is the month that any thing can happen at any givin time Guppie
