I did see a good number of anglers getting cut off, when pulling in a big fish all the sudden they have no hook left.
If you know for sure they are a lot of these big 10-17 lb blues around I would switch to a wire leader, or take your chances on losing either your lure or your bait rig .

Today is the same as yesterday, bluefish seems to be out numbering the stripers that are being caught.
I know we’ll have a few more days like you guys & Gals Had On Monday memorial day, We just have to hope We can be there when it happens.
For all We know it can be happening while we’re all sleeping counting sheep at night, Like we al know , when We can We have to put the time in to fishing, don’t wait for a call or a fishing report, because by the time you get to the beach the fishing can be over, like yesterday had we left the house at 10 AM We would have been in to the good blue fishing, but I have chosen to stay home and wait to up date to put on my web site, and I’ll do it again if I had to, I honestly don’t think Don would appreciate it if I do.

I just want to see Don Hook a hook a 24Lb striper like Pork chop Paco did yesterday..Man that was a beautiful fish Paco , to bad we left you so early.
