Hi Guys & Gals.
Fishing is starting to look a little bit better on the Bay side.
Peanut bunker has been appearing in the bay in the oyster Creek area with Stripers on them.
Ryan day (aka) Big Little Fishing man and his friend fished the bay Saturday and Easter Sunday night, Ryan Hooked a 28.2” stripers Saturday on a fresh water small lure, while his friend Tre hooked a 40” 25 lb striper in the bay last night..
Mister twister yellow 1”lures have been working well for stripers as well in the Bay.
. I have been told anglers fishing yesterday for flounder did not have a good day at all, some using Gulp worms, clam strips, & blood worms, speaking of blood worms are up to about $12.00 a dozen now that’s ridiculous, Earth worms will do the same as the blood worms, if you have a compose it’ll be even cheaper..

Fishing the Delaware bay last Saturday & Sunday some anglers fished with blood worms and scored hooking a few shorts up to about 24”, again this is all second hand information.

I was told that Island heights flounder fishing yesterday was also slow, not many happy anglers.
Flounder fishing was decent at Shark River Yesterday some flounder as big as 15” were caught.

As far as the ocean side I have no reports, IBSP was as dead with anglers as dead can be lately, those who took a crack at fishing had no luck at all, we need the ocean temp to pick up a bit.

Just a reminder Island Beach State Park now has a recycling place for all unwanted mono line recycling thing located at A7 by the air pumps, view pictures --à
