Hi Guys & Gals.
Ocean Temp is up to 43 degrees today.
A few anglers have gone fishing @ IBSP with out any luck, some using plugs some clam balling.
From what I was told a few areas @ Island Beach State Park have lost a lot of the beach which happens every year around this time,beach erosion, Not possitive, but I think around area 19 you might want to be careful at .

It’s been the same good striper action at Oyster Creek, peanut bunker has shown up, from what I was told a on a few accassions the bait was spraying like crazy with stripers on it.
A few speckled trout have been caught in this area as well, I was told that one at 19” a nice fatty as well..

Gulp White worms and white or pink Fin-S have been working well.
A few small swimming plugs like black bombers as well as small yellow bombers for stripers.
Flounder fish has been great as well, as we all know you can’t keep these winter flounder till March 23rd. just a reminder.
Sorry for not reporting, I am getting caught up with chores that had to be done around the house, this way when action picks up we’ll be able to spend more time search for fish.
With the Gas prices being up to almost $3.00 a gal,

I had all conditions under control to head out to IBSP this morning , till @ 5 AM my door bell rings, it was Toms River Police dept, scared the heck out of me, thought something happened to one of my family members god for bid, my heart was pounding, well a drunken driver knocked out my mail box along with a few trees torn right out of the ground and a telephone pole cut right in half, good the sob did not get hurt but is now in Jail, I hope they keep him there, if it was not for the trees I can bet he would have kept on going till maybe he would have killed some one or caused another major accident.
now we are waiting for the wires to be put back up till then we can’t leave out drive way, after that we have to head out for a new mailbox and a 2x6.
