Guppies fishing report Hi Guys & Gals.
I did get a few reports that right now it’s pretty slow as far as Bass fishing, but I would say all the tackle shops ran out of clams yesterday, which is in my IHOP I think more stripers would have been caught .
The day is not over yet, last nights cold spell will indeed start moving the bait out of the bay, I am looking forward to a good fishing day today, We can never tell what mother nature is going to do, one minute the ocean can be a dead sea this time of the year, the next minute we can have fish every where.
Paul from Grumpy Bait & Tackle took a early trip north and manage to find bushels of clams, which he now has in, If you can I would stock up, salt some clams up and freeze just in case a situation happens like this again, and this time of the year it will.
I plan on getting 10 doz and putting some away.
When salting up clams for the future please throw away all the garbage, just keep the tongues, the black stuff will rot your clams and you’ll see that the fresh frozen clams look kind of blackish after a while.

Freeze all the clams you possibly can for December and January, for the clam boats do have a cut off time when at some time they just don’t go out for the winter or else you’ll be paying $10.00 or $11.00 for a quart of frozen junk.
I’d be very surprised if nothing happens today .
One other thing to mention, we all like to be treated with love, kindness and caring for one another, Please weigh you fish in at Grumpys or your favorite tackle shop, They sit in the shop all day till night time for us, yes We all know it’s their job, When I use to work at a tackle shop, my biggest joy was seeing anglers weigh their Stripers in, I am sure tackle shops owners feel the same, this is their reward, it mean just as much as making money to them, I know I was in that position at one time.
The Best of Luck to all you Great anglers out there.
We’ll be heading out soon and will be spending a good part of the day, hopefully till dark fishing, I will call Grumpys and keep him posted , not after the fact up to the minute with any reports, where or when , I hate being a spot burner. LMAO.

Now get out and kick some Bass !
