Hi Guys & Gals. As always We got a call while just pulling on to IBSP that bluefish action started about 6 PM . It started at area 7, they quickly moved with an hour from area 7 – the Pocket at Island Beach State park, No visible signs other then bait spraying which looked like peanut bunker. We Left the pocket at about 8:18 PM with the cocktail blues still hitting on poppers and metal. The wind was blowing rather heavy south from 5:30 PM – about 7, after that it was absolutely gorgeous by the water, A full romantic moon.
BTW, No blitzing by all means just a small school of blues came through chasing a small pod of bait, the best I can do to describe the fishing situation early this evening . The best of Luck To All And Good Night .
