Hi Guys & Gals. I am now trying to locate some of the pictures of anglers who caught different kinds of sharks last summer and early fall. For those who don;'t know the difference like I, I will be posting a few different sharks and short essays on them .. . I found this picture as a start .
Caught at IBSP on a bait finder rig if I remember on clams.Hello Guppie & Don and all members of Guppies Web. I just wanted to give a report. I was out early on Tuesday and saw Snapper and Cocktail Blues jumping out of the water but out pretty far and I noticed brown fins through my binoculars. I only went out there with a dozen clams because I only had an hour to fish and caught 11 Smooth Dogfish. The one in the picture weighed 19 lbs. 4 oz. which was 4 oz. less from tying the state record. However, I know I saw Sharks that morning. Sure enough on Wednesday & Thursday Sandbar Sharks were weighed in. I went early this morning and got this 51 inch 29 .25 Sandbar Shark. The Shark took me 53 yards up the beach before it was landed, over an hour and a half to die because they are so hardy. it was weighed in at the Dock Outfitters. They have excellent tasting white meat like Stripers. If anyone is interested feel free to call me and enjoy the weekend! : billyfromsandspike@comcast
