Hi Guys & Gals. it’s been a real busy weekend for Don & I, I had no time to fish, but I did manage to get a few positive reports Sunday & Monday, Thanks to our great reliable and royal angler who found time to get out and fish a few hours Sunday & Monday, Charlie aka Card Shop to all of us, Card Shop I want to thank you again for the reports. The ocean is rough this morning, holding with an 6-8 oz sinker I have received a few reports that bluefish are still around, with the Ocean Temperatures still being in the high 40”s to 50 degrees in December, as long as the weather stays like this we’ll see good Bass action, it would be nice for the ocean temps to drop to about 45 degrees, this would most likely to bring the trophy Bass in closer and possible in this area. Charlie had a great time playing with his jingle bells this weekend, as a matter of fact the fish were hitting pretty steady, he managed to hear jingle bell rock his poles bounced so much, He caught Bass up to 28” along with a few bluefish, Ummmmmm interesting. I’m going to take a muscle relaxer, I pulled my back, once the pain goes away we’ll head out to IBSP. With the ocean being as rough as it is, I would recommend fishing south of area 15, clams will be breaking up as they hit the rocks and this will bring Stripers in this area. I have received 7 reports that the anglers who fished Gillikins – area 12 had very little Luck. most of the action has been on clams. I am hoping most of you anglers bough some clams to salt for the winter, every day it’s going to be tougher getting a hold of fresh clams, we might see bait shops closing earlier for the winter, unless many anglers are still fishing, We can’t expect them to stay open late hours for a hand full of anglers, so just in case be prepared and keep clams on hand at home. If I hear of any action this morning I’ll up date, if not I will report back when we return home . Till Then, I hope you all had a Happy, Healthy and safe Christmas weekend Life should not be measured by the breaths that you take, but by the moments that takes your breath away. Good friends are like stars. You don't always see them but you always know they are there ! The Best of Luck To All & Please Stay Happy & Healthy
