This morning it was like a dead sea, the ocean is calm with a few small roller, ocean is cleaning up a lot.
tone of monarch butter flies flying all over Island Beach State Park, a nice site to see.
I just spoke to three anglers , they all said the same , no bait , no fish , a few sea robins and a few skate were seen being caught , it’s like I always say , Calm before the storm..
Tide is moving out right now, it’s possible for some bait to start moving in at low tide. This is real strange, no birds working, very few birds in the area as a matter of fact..
Lots of bunker is moving out to the bay , I spoke a Card shop which lives by the river, he said about a mile of bait moved in to the bay about an hour ago, this can mean that maybe by tonight or tomorrow morning the bluefish or Bass should start feeding ..
All this mullet has to be some where, either south or the netters scooped them all up, LMAO just kidding. But then again if Charlie lives south of Toms River, we’ll never see this bait, it heads south unless the blues chase them North .> Ok I just received three calls, my Dear friend Card shop just hit Gillikins, three cast, three croakers, also a few fluke was seen in this area, looks like a bottom fish day We’re heading out now , bb with a report . The wind is west , blowing about 12—15 with gusts, nice , face your truck facing the dunes and Charlie said it’s gorgeous out ..
