Hi Guys & Gals. I did speak to a few anglers who are on the beach this minute, it’s been quiet so far, bait beyond reach, about 1 PM the tide will be high, as soon as thios tide starts to drop it’s possible the bait will move in, blues and bass at times trap the bait, when the tide is high the bait can go in any direction, as the tide drops and the bait is trying to get away from the bluefish and bass or what ever might be chasing them will trap their selves at low tide, s soon as the tide starts to roll again these bait start looking for an escape, they will head out to the first opening they find, I would say between 2 PM & 4 PM should be a good time to start fishing. We need the ocean temp to drop a few degrees, we’ll have plenty of fish .. Right now not many anglers are fishing for fluke, but the fatties are here, some who are fishing for this fish are hooking up with a few keepers, The real best bait for fluke right now Lol is a hi lo rig with a piece of clam or a live snapper blue or a live mullet, works great. I think it’s calm before the storm??? . The ocean is clean, calm as you would want it to be . Holding with a 4-5 oz sinker easy, great water for fluke as the tide starts to run out. This Is the best I can do for now as far as a report, till I hear any fishing reports, most anglers are hanging out BSing with one another hoping and waiting for maybe this bait to start moving in..
