Hi Guys & Gals. Last night a little north of the pocket at IBSP Stripers started to hit just before dark, this afternoon stripers and bluefish were caught on the North jetty. The lure to use was a white sassy shads. Fluke in the inlet as well at Island Beach State Park. These fish are feeding just before the storm, I do believe we’ll get some thing from this bad weather. The ocean was rolling , holding with a 6-8 oz sinker, the sun was out ,it was windy, blowing about 15-20 N-east, but fishable and chilly by the water. Once the wind picks up I think the good fishing conditions will be over, if we get any thing at all, just be prepared.>,br> A couple of Stripers were caught along the beach from area 23 to the inlet, from what I saw all shorts. I was told by a good source that a nice keeper was caught by the hump on the North jetty. it was real nice to see so many anglers fishing this afternoon, again I met a few who read my reports, . Good Luck to all.
I will keep you all posted tomorrow on fishing and weather conditions from the Jersey shore . Guppie
I am posting a few pictures now .
