Stories Archive: Tuesday 8-29-06 The weather Channels Were Way Off For Ocean County, 9:45 PM

 Hi Guys & Gals.
I usually take the weather channels with a little grain of salt, we went out side turned my patio tables up side down, tilted my chairs, took umbrellas down, made sure all my planters were down, they scared the hell out of me, we have a 32X 18 deck, 15 patio chairs, two big tables, never again, all we had were a little rain.
I was just sitting on my deck having a smoke, it’s warm, humid and very little wind, again, I can not blame John John @ Betty & Nicks for getting mad for all these bogus weather reports.
I’m having my grandchildren over tomorrow, ran to the store to get some cereal and snacks for them, the stop & shop was mobbed, I walked out..
Right now we have a almost nothing to a light N-East wind, If were up to me I’d take a ride to IBSP and sit by the ocean and bait fish, but Don has no attention to do so, that’s how nice it is out side , we had not one little sound of thunder nor no lighting, it probably would have been a good fishing late afternoon, I can deal with the rain.
As always next time I just get out , if it’s bad out we come home. I very seldom panic with the weather channels, I bet the food markets made lots of money..
