Hi Guys & Gals .. Sorry for the delays on my reports lately. Lots of other issues are going on in my life as well as getting to the beach as much as I possibly can. Having 6 Grand children, one on the way in November, and becoming a great grand mother in February, baby Showers, My children’s birthday and the grand children’s birthdays, daughter in laws birthday, house cleaning, this is all keeping me on my toes and alive and extremely active. I will always find time to keep up with the beach conditions and fishing reports& Promise never to turn my back on you Guys and Gals for in one way I feel all my members are a big part of my life as well.<,br> now no more mushy stuff and on with the fishing and beach report. It looks like the S-West windi s going to calm the ocean down, I have my meatballs and spaghetti sauce cooking now, put it in a crock pot and head to IBSP to see what the scoop is in a short time . So Far A few reports I have received was the ocean is still a bit rough, we have been having showers on and off all morning here in Toms River. Holding with a 8-10 oz sinker. I said to my husband lets go do a little fishing today, he said it was raining out, So what, last December, Timmy , Don & I were fishing with a N-East 20-30,, bitter cold out and nailing the heck out of stripers, We all went home with a keeper, Trust me I felt no pain or cold.. I think fishing the inlet and the bays or the back of IBSP might be a bit more productive for today. > Tomorrow all the weather stations are predicting a East wind of some sort ,this is good news, but it’s close to a full moon hope we don’t get the storm that’s forming here, if so , it’s be a bad time around Sept 4th to Sept.15th, with a full moon which I believe is on the 10th of September, I’m just warming you all up with the possibilities. The weather is looking good so far for this weekend , just keep your fingers crossed.. The good fishing is on it’s way, for those die hard anglers who would fish the surf when it’s rough like this , you have a good chance of hooking up with some sort of fish, what ever that may be feeding on all the broken clams in the wash .. Still lots of sea bass and snappers in the bays & Inlets. Crabbing still remains extremely slow , lots of babies..
For good fluke fishing , you need a boat for now any way, after seeing that 5.4 lb fluke that was caught in the inlet Saturday, it gave me hope that the fluking should start picking up, just be in the right place at the right time, Till then
Always Remember! worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about
itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." ! The Best of Luck To All & Please Stay Happy & Healthy
Guppie & Don.
