Hi Guys & Gals. Right now it's rainning here in Toms River. We took a ride to Island Beach State Park yesterday afternoon, stayed till just before dark, the inlet was real nice and clean, the ocean was rough, a bit brown, lots of garbage coming in from the ocean, weed as well.
My dear Camper friend Joe manage to hook a nice 5.4 lb fluke in the inlet on a buck tail with a white worm, he weighed it in at Grumpys bait & Tackle, He, did not want his picture taken, so I had one taken of me with his fluke, and as a gift The fluke was giving to me for today’s dinner, fish & Chips. LOl,
As we have been hearing of lots of Bonito caught in the suds, just to show you all what size these babies are I snapped a picture,
The ocean side was almost non-fishable late afternoon, as the tide came in the so did the grass, holding with an 8-10oz sinker oz sinker.
From 4 PM - 8:30 PM two fluke and one blue was caught in the inlet.
I’ll be posting the pictures soon.
A few cow nose rays were also caught from the surf earlier.
It’s going blow a good stiff South East today, it was blowing rather hard yesterday,I'm surprised no one reported this?
I think we’ll pass on fishing today, it’s already rainning here Toms River, lots of dried leaves falling, a stiff S-east wind about 15-20. We need the rain badly, I hope it rains for a few days, If I hear of any action I will update. Till then it is what it is , crummy Always Remember! worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about
itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." ! The Best of Luck To All & Please Stay Happy & Healthy
