Fishing NewsThe SW wind was more SE and it was a little chilly when the wind picked up but not uncomfortable. Lots of deep water up and down the beach even at low tide. I was fishing with Fishin Mission Joe and neither of us saw a bump. Would have been happy just to have a bird hit the line. Conditions should be good all week after the rain tonight. Don

Fishing NewsPeople are getting shorts on clams but nobody's admitting to a keeper. Surf temp is right around 45 so the fish might be a little sluggish. Don

Fishing NewsTook a ride to the beach today. The sand is fairly hard and flat so driving was easy. Not enough people there to chop it up yet. Went to the inlet to see if anything is being done. They have some equiptment there but nothing going on yet. You can still get to the inlet to fish. Don

Fishing NewsThe forecast for the weekend looks pretty good and the stores will have clams. What more can you ask for? The surf temperature is up to the mid 40's. It's April so there should be a few fish looking around the wash for a meal. Don

Fishing NewsSurf temperature is in the low 40's and the bays are mid 40's. Clams should work better right now since the fish will be a little sluggish. Years ago at this time we'd be using live herring but that's been stopped.
Haven't heard anything about flounder, think the wind and rain kept most people away. Don

Should we bring the bunker reduction boats back for a year or two to get rid of some of the bunker?
