Wish I had something positive to say but I don't know anybody out trying. Supposed to be a nice weekend so soaking a clam might be a good idea.
High tides will be between 10 and 11 am so clams should work if there are any fish around.

Still fish around but not many people trying. Most of the ones still fishing are staying up around Asbury Park and not saying anything. The drizzle all day today kept most people home. Don

A beautiful day at the beach (for January) and people showed up. So did the fish. Not going to be as warm tomorrow but the fish are still here.
As it's been lately the early morning bite is the best time. Don

Drove from Gillikins to the jetty at low tide just to see the beach structure. A few nice holes have opened up and at low tide you can easily get to almost every bar. With the warm weather and early high tide I'm sure there will be some fish caught tomorrow morning. Don

Things have been slow due to lack of participation. The cold and wind have a thing about keeping people home. Those who have gone out have been finding some fish in not too great conditions.
The wind is calming down and the water is flat so it's a good time to try in the afternoons.
So far the weekend is looking great with the tides and weather, let's hope the forecast doesn't change. Don
